Hello all!
Thought it was about time I updated this thing seeing as it has been ages. My exams finished almost a month ago and they went ok. I'm definately sure I'm going to have to resit a couple of them though. Ah well! I have also moved to my new flat with my mate Chris. It's gorgeous and once I have some sort of working camera I can take photos. I really love this place though and we're going to be getting the internet sorted next week so I should be around more often then.
Other than that, I've not really been doing much. Have been working most of the time, did a 44 hour week the other week and have had no money as the tax man decided to rob me of most of it!

Surprisingly though, we've had fairly nice weather in the UK lately. I went to Liverpool for the day last week and managed to get sunburnt! God knows what I'm going to be like when I go back home for 3 weeks later this month.

Obviously as I've been so busy, my message centre have been overloaded. I currently have 159 deviations and 69 other messages

. When I have time, I do often just come on and read journals but most of the time I don't have the time to comment, however `
nyssi's journal about commenting is one that has stuck in my mind.
I do find that there are times where I will just fav a deviation and not comment, it's not that I can't think of a comment and by faving it I can easily find it to go back and comment at a later date. I find it really upsetting when my work gets more favourites than comments. At the end of the day, I personally submit my work on here in the hope that other talented people will give me feedback, whether positive or negative, so that I can improve myself. I enjoy having people tell me how I can improve, it's like a mini challenge. Yet, if people don't leave comments then I never know if I'm improving or not. Even a simple "Great shot" or "great use of depth" type comment means more to me than getting a favourite. If you are going to fav a piece of work, then tell that person why you are going to fav it. What do you love about it? Is there anything you'd do differently? That's just my personal opinion though.
Till later days!
